In a review of the Huawei P30 Pro standard, Pocket-Link noted that its overall size is compatible with the previous version P20 Pro (if not a bit more compact due to the physical fingerprint reader replacement), and that it still included the headphone jack and the P30 Pro. Most New Hardware However, the camera is said to be higher quality for the P30 Pro, and its battery iron is not very good with this version.

Hardware

The P30 Pro has a curved display and replaces the traditional stereoscopic headphone speaker with an "electronic magnetic levitation" speaker that allows for a shorter-sized bezel that vibrates the top of the phone's screen. The P30 pro has IP53 water and dust protection, while the P30 Pro has IP68 but it does not include a headphone jack. Both models use the Kirin 980 chip system. The devices have an on-screen optical fingerprint reader, which is claimed to be superior in performance to the Mate 30 Pro.

Camera

The P30 Pro has three rear-facing camera lenses with Lyca optics, including a 40 megapixel lens, 20 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, an 8 megapixel "Periscope" lens with 5 megapixel zoom. Optical zoom can be integrated with up to 50x software-backed digital zooms. The P30 Pro includes a flight time sensor. The P30 base model eliminates periscopic lenses (it reduces to a 3x optical zoom), reduces the ultra-wide angle lens to 16 megapixels, and does not include optical image stabilization (software-based AI stabilization is still used). The megapixel lens on both models uses a new "superspectrum" image sensor, whose color filter array uses yellow subpixels instead of green ones. Huawei says it will be able to capture lighter and better absorption of red and green. This sensor also receives "Super HDR" and "Super Low Lite" in new capture modes, along with improvements to the Night mode of the camera software.

Software

Huawei ships with P9 line with Android 9.0 "Pi" with EMUI 9.1 software package. Huawei launched an EMUI 10 based on Android 10 in August 2019, with Pita 30 getting it in a beta program. Mystic Blue and Misty Lavender Huawei P30 pro models preloaded with Android 10.

About phone

The Huawei P30 Pro was comparable to other mobile devices in terms of hardware specifications, but Huawei was a "matchless champion" in terms of camera quality. It was shown that their cameras performed better in low light in the default settings than in Pixel 3's "Night View" mode (which requires longer exposure), and even though there was a slight decrease in sharpness by 10x, there was very little degradation in the quality of its periscope lensed images, It makes even usable images with 32x zoom. But while it's not as aggressive as the Huawei P30 Pro, I still felt that the automatic processing of Huawei was "very aggressive in its blend of vague and additive sharpness", and the Pixel 3's more white balance was accurate. The P30 Pro had good Bluetooth and Wi-Fi performance, a "heroic long" battery life, and the "Magnetic Levitation" headset worked "amazingly well." However, it was considered that its screen was lower than the mobile phone (due to the relatively low resolution and distortion of curved edges at certain viewing angles), the on-screen fingerprint reader was not as fast, and Huawei's default user interface is more attractive and useful.
